Windows 2003 ITM 6.1 Install Abort

Every once and awhile I get an ABORT error when installing ITM 6.1 on a Windows 2003 system. On some 2003 systems I get the error and others I don't.

You will get this error if you are not running SP1 or if the Windows Installer 3.1 (KB893803) is not installed. You can install ITM 6.1 on a Windows system w/o SP1 if you install the updated Windows Installer. You can download the installer at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=889482fc-5f56-4a38-b838-de776fd4138c&DisplayLang=en

or go to microsoft.com/downloads and search for KB893803.

The documentation states that the minimum requirement is SP1 but you can actually run ITM 6 w/o SP1 as long as you have the updated installer.

Here is a snip of the abort.log messages.

This appears to happen right after the GSKIT has been installed.
